Back attack study- Notice the commonalities between this sequence and the clip yesterday with yuri. A simple pass off from my strangle arm to a single cross wrist gives me initial control of his secondary hand. Following that, a simple dilemma between him using his primary defensive hand to either protect his neck, or strip my cross wrist. Had he attempted to strip the cross wrist grip, he would have given me a double cross. Instead, he chose to protect his neck from the strangle, making it easy to trap his secondary hand with my legs. After that, using a simple 1 on 1 to trap his primary hand made it easy to fight for a strangle. Realizing both of his hands were trapped, he tried switching sides, like yuri, but that only made things worse. @bjj.fanatics

The Full Circle Guard System is like this… ⠀
⠀
You lead your opponent into a room with ten doors. However, you’ve locked and have the key to seven of those doors.⠀
⠀
Behind two of the unlocked doors are traps, and behind the other is a similar room with more locked doors and more traps. ⠀
⠀
The more doors your opponent opens, the closer they come to their downfall.⠀
⠀
Stop acting like a robot and start thinking like an expert with Robert’s ‘Full Circle Guard System’.⠀

my journey as a coach has arrived in its most challenging phase and I am excited for it.
exactly the same phase that we were as a competitor in 2010 – the beginning of the black belt – young, well accomplished in the color belts with incredible work ethic
in 2010 Rafa won Worlds at 20 years old, months after he won ADCC, we were training with a very small and focused group in a small city in Brazil.
we were training and teaching all day long, hungry and passionate, just waiting for opportunity to meet preparation.
