Utilize and redirect your opponents momentum when they are stalking you with pressure for your own benefit. Here, I use a back-stepping double knee rotating entry and drop underneath their center of gravity to catapult them to their back with apt time for a transition to a dominant ground position. When faced with an experienced opponent, some of the classic entries to the Omoplata can be difficult to execute.⠀

That being said, it’s important to diversify and seek to enter the omoplata from positions where your opponent won’t see it coming.⠀
