Yes, Jaidyn is a female but my male students bring the heat with her. She has big dreams, and she is toe to toe in every match with males close to her weight.
Although there were many mistakes made in this match, these matches are NEEDED. It was back and forth and both students were pushed to their limits.
Some matches I don’t like to coach much to see what the students do on their own, after the match we sit down and fix every mistake.
Some matches I coach every step of the way.

👀 Stop Getting Tapped By Heel Hooks 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🤩
@graciebarraonline
📹 Technique 1 – In our first video, we find Prof. Braulio locked in a 50/50 Guard position with his opponent. The opponent is looking for a reverse heel hook attack on Prof. Braulio.
🎥 Technique 2 – In video #2, Prof. Braulio has stopped the opponent’s attack and now advances the position to attack with a heel hook of his own. Pay attention to how Prof. Braulio pulls the opponent’s leg over, exposing the opponent’s heel for reverse heel hook.

#WrestlingWednesday 🤼♂️• When an initial leg attack or this specific sweep single fails to result in obtaining a leg or takedown, many times you end up underneath a sprawling opponent in this kind of chest wrap. “Peaking-out” is a viable option to cut an angle and create opportunities to score a takedown or create a scramble. 👀out by @keenancornelius x @paebloperez
One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when trying to learn jiu jitsu is trying to decide on a style of game they want to have. Often this ends up with you limiting your game and stagnating your progression. It is important that you focus on learning all styles so that you can make a decision from knowledge of a position rather than from what you speculate a position or technique might be like.

as you start a guard pass there are stages that have to be achieved in order for you to get rid of a strong frame. we normally focus on beating the feet, then beating the knees, eventually getting control over the hips and lastly making the decision between passing with upper body control, attacking the back or creating a submission attempt. different styles of passing will create this transition at a different pace. here I am facing my opponents one leg x guard, pay attention to how he is able to use his knees and hips to frame the guard at first, but as I adjust my grips and body position I allow myself to slide closer to the hip and then the upper body, creating the choke opportunity.
