Today’s question comes from Kenny who is a retired military veteran who’s had his fair share of injury.
He earned his Blue Belt in BJJ several years ago, but then took some time off.
He moved to Nashville and is wanting to get back into Brazilian Jiu-jitsu but doesn’t want to compete because of risk of injury.
In this video I share about one of our students who is in a very similar situation. A retired military veteran who’s had some serious injuries.
Recently my student was told that he can’t compete anymore because of the intensity and risk of injury.
My student was super upset because he enjoyed competing alongside all of us. But we talked about it and we discussed other options that are available for someone wanting to train Brazilian Jiujitsu.
Hopefully if you’re in a similar situation, this video will be helpful.
