Nice to be back on the mats in that summer heat. This year has kicked of already challenging injury management for longevity and consistency. The beauty of studying and shifting your career towards education on injury mitigation and high performance makes you the perfect test dummy. Because I need to get it right before I can teach with true confidence and “when I teach it I get to learnt it twice” (@jimkwik). #injury #injuryprevention

Part of the leg pummeling system that’s coming to you soon. I see a lot of hater comments on bernardos page saying I didnt invent this. Of course I didnt invent leg pummeling just as danaher didnt invent leg lock locks. What I did is systematized it. Sure guys go out and pummel legs randomly in competition. That’s not the idea. The idea is to use a systematic approach to not just pummeling but to guard passing as a whole so that you have an answer no matter what reaction your partner gives or what kind of guard they choose to play. If you dont believe me just wait till the reviews come out ? @bjj.fanatics @hypnotik @musclepharm

@kimurasoapco @studio540 Reposted from @bernardofariabjj – ? ? Hey guys, check out this Video on Gordon Ryan’s ( @gordonlovesjiujitsu ) leg pummeling System for passing the guard. ? ?

It’s a complete NEW WAY OF PASSING THAT GORDON INVENTED while training for the ADCC that he won in 2017.
–
–
I have never seen this before. While everyone tries to pummel with the arms, Gordon pummels with the legs! Its amazing! And he uses some principles that “you are not supposed to do” but work really well :). –
–
This year Gordon won both his weight and the open classes at both No Gi Pans and No Gi Worlds – winning all 13 matches. –
–
If you are looking to learn a new system of passing that no one has figured out and Gordon has used to pass the best guards in the World – then check out this video: I think you’ll really enjoy it.

This match review is from the 2009 ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championships in Barcelona, Spain. After having a breakthrough performance on Day 1 of ADCC, submitting European champion Trond Saksenvik and ADCC Pro World Champion Tarsis Humphries, my goal of becoming an ADCC Champion was within reach.
One man stood in my way to the path to the finals – Andre Galvao. I had seen Galvao compete many times, but this was his first time in my division after bulking up. What resulted was a great match up that started very tactical, but midway through a lot of attacks and transitions took place, which I think everyone could learn something from.
