To answer the question some of you may ask, the reason I extend my hands before I get my leg over his head, is because I need to create space for my leg to pass. If he is too close, it’ll be hard for me to pass the leg, especially if I am not flexible. The kimura grip pins his elbow and prevents him from closing the space I create with my hip escape.
