Take downs || Do you know how to do takedowns for jiujitsu? I just record over 3 hrs about grappling takedowns @bjj.fanatics. I see a lot of grappling fighters training wrestling but they don’t adapt their game for grappling. Jiujitsu takedowns aren’t wrestling takedowns. Why? Because you must shoot thinking about grappling (submissions and counters) and not wrestling! 90% of the no gi competitors are training their takedowns in a wrong way. We don’t do wrestling (no shoes, no singlet, no pin) but we do takedowns thinking about what can happen / or why we can do after we take our opponent down. When you shoot you must understand the reactions of your opponent. I’m not saying wrestling is not good for you, but you must adapt the wrestling you’re learning to take down jiujitsu fighters and not wrestlers. The reactions are way different. 🤙🏽 think about it!!! –

Pense nisso!!!
When you’re trying to come up from bottom, your goal is to take away your opponents height advantage by off balancing them and breaking their posture. A great way to do this by feeding the lapel behind the leg and coming up for a single leg. For more details on this technique check out the new footage from @legion_ajj being uploaded to Keenan Online.

This application of Uchi Mata (Inner Thigh Throw) is popular and effective. The Ken Ken (Hop Hop) action is useful against an opponent who resists or manages to get partially away from your initial Uchi Mata attack.
