I just counted over 300 cars in the Walmart parking lot. Yet the local bicycle shop can’t open because @govmurphy says it’s unsafe. This is some world class hypocrisy.
The kimura trap is one of the most useful tools you can have in your no gi tool box. This one popular system has brought me in quite a few no gi medals. Some times this singular grip can turn the tide of a whole match and next thing you know, you are on their back. Go register at keenanonline.com to get this system and many others.
The newest courses available are: 🥋 the closed guard course – a great foundational guard system to get a hold on those scrambly youngins jumping around your guard. 🤾🏼 The knee cut and long step class – the speed and utility the long step provides with the control and pressure modulation that the supporting knee cut provides 💡 there will be lightbulbs going off over your head with this fantastic dollop of detail 🧘🏼♀️ Last but not least The ProtoGuard. Which is less of a guard and more of an entire grappling fight strategy that lets you pull, sweep, pass and play. It’s code name infers Position Requires Oversimplified Technique Orchestration Go-Between Universal Attack Reliant Defense. And that’s an accurate name! I’ve been dying to tell you guys about this one, it’s been eating me up inside I had to put it out there earlier than we planned because it’s such a blast to implement into your game.
Ever get pain in your arms from BJJ training or run out of steam with your grips during collar chokes? In this video I’m going to show you some simple exercises for BJJ grip training plus give you an idea of bringing balance to your forearm and hand muscles that can resolve some of the pain you could be experiencing. The exercise I show 1st in the video along with the balancing idea cleared up a lot of elbow tendonitis I dealt with a few years ago from Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
In addition to the balancing exercise I’m also going to show you a couple of weird strengthening exercises you can use to develop strength in areas. The movements I show are specific for collar chokes in Brazilian Jiujitsu.
So I hope this video is helpful and gives you some more ideas on how to train your grips rather than simply doing only curling exercises which can lead to more problems.
Thanks for watching the video!
