Charlie Cooper has always been one of my favorite people. The grandson of John Cooper, creator of the iconic Mini-Cooper, Charlie has every reason to be arrogant and entitled, and yet he couldn’t be further from either of those things.

Hard-working, kind and genuine, Charlie is the epitome of what a true jiu jitsu player should represent.

Having suffered two career-ending knee injuries, in both professional rugby and amateur jiu jitsu, he still manages to stay involved in the sporting community and keeps pushing his personal boundaries every day.
