I put a high value on grappling knowledge, so much so that I spend a great deal of time and energy pursuing it. And in all my travels and studies I’ve only found a few people with such a wealth of it, that I find truly outstanding. @jflojudo is one of them and will be @legion_ajj head judo instructor moving forward, with classes commencing January 2nd at 11 am. From then on he will be teaching at 11 am on Monday and Thursday at 7550 Miramar road. Needless to say I’m ecstatic. Hes also available for private lessons. (Incredible) if that’s works into your training schedule better. @legion_ajj @hyperfly @jflojudo

The open mats at legion are pretty relaxed. Unless you are one of the 10 or so competive black and brown belts that show up. Then it’s war. @legion_ajj @hyperfly

The Crooked armbar is a great alternative to the traditional armbar from closed guard as it doesn’t require as precise of hip and leg movements to maintain control without getting stacked and your armbar defended by your opponent. It’s simple and fiendishly effective. lower belts can have success with it even without perfect coordination. Every class I teach from @legion_ajj is on @keenanonline

Jiu-jitsu has this limitless effect. You get into it and its sheer vastness draws you in. The gap between what you know and what you don’t know is staggering to visualize, but not impossible.
