Feeling a little lackadaisical this morning? I prescribe one dose of Officer Park for you. You’re welcome. #jiminychristmas ???? Posted @withrepost • @bellevuewapolicerecruiting
There is a saying in #judo that is loosely translated to: “Train half for yourself, and half for your partner.” Midway through a spirited PT session, Officer Park (our department’s training coordinator) shared why he believes it is an expectation in our line of work to periodically give everything you’ve got in training so your mind and body will be prepared to go there in real life. We are proud to say that we have never had a police recruit fail the PAT test, and that is in no small part due to ofc Park’s commitment to preparing our new hires for the academy. He discusses how our output in reality will be a reflection of our output in training, and how we should strive to do our very best not just for ourselves, but for our coworkers and for our #community! If what ofc Park said resonates with you, we’d love to have you on our #team! Our entry level hiring portal is open and lateral applicants are eligible for a limited time, 16k signing bonus! Previous years of #lawenforcement experience count towards vacation accrual and eligibility for specialized units. Up to 95.8k in base pay, not counting incentives (an additional 5-17% with a degree + longevity pay). Patrol officers get 4-5 consecutive days off each work cycle and 2 weekends off per month. Additionally, we will be one of the first department’s in the country to equip all patrol officers with @sigsauerinc p320 RX duty pistols that have issued #reddot optics and a mounted flashlight!
