BJJ (and sport in general) require a combination of athletic parameters like strength, power and endurance, and intermuscular coordination. Intermuscular coordination involves the synchronised firing of multiple muscle groups to create a smooth movement. Supplementary training should include both the former and the latter.
In this video, I’m performing hybrid exercises. Hybrids combine multiple exercises (2 or more) into a single repetition. They require a larger amount of motor control due to more joints being involved.
The three exercises in this video are: Pushup to L-Sit (Pushing Muscles and Core), Dip and Knee Raise (Pushing Muscles and Core) and Hold-Up L-Sit Kicks (Pulling Muscles and Core). @baseblocks #baseblocks #calisthenics
