Ashi waza/te waza combinations. Here with my boy @phillyfreshufc, we see an initial double kouchi that initially gets a backwards reaction and forces a staggered stance. Once the lead leg is exposed it’s easy to then catch it with an outside ankle pick. The outside ankle pick (in our sport due to the lack of shoes) is most effective when converted to a 2 on 1 to avoid kick outs. Once a 2 on 1 is established is is a pretty easy thing to follow your partner up into take downs or pull them back into ashi garami (2017 adcc vs cyborg). Which one you choose will be contingent upon whether they run away or push back into you. @flograppling @komainuapparel
