Love the breakdown. Personally my go to passing game is over/under and x-pass, gonna have to play with this though, the grip strategy here is different than what I normally do. In no-gi I have been playing with using the knee slide to pressure people so they turn into me and then take the guillotine from there.

My only decent pass is the knee slide so the Peruvian/step over choke threat to pass from 1/4 guard is a huge part of my game, I also combine it with brabo choke and baseball bat choke follow ups.

Knee Slide, but when I get the underhook I use my head to turn his head so he can't reguard. If I don't get the underhook i pull his close arm to flatten his upper body and prevent him from reguarding

I was on your channel since beginning 🙂 After getting passed by Romulo on Euro 17 my teacher Martin Aedma reformed and tailored his own kneeslide after it and now it's a killer 🙂
So are there two different techniques analysed or is the goal of the first one to get them flat and he just happened to pass when they was on their side? Im seeing him use a shallower cross face and grip on the bottom of the hip when they're facing him and when they're flat he grabs the top of their hip and gets a deeper cross face
