The Flower Sweep is one of the fundamentals sweeps every guard player should know. It can blossom into many other techniques, such as arm bars, omoplatas, triangle chokes, and even leg locks! It also works well against opponents that try to stand, and can be used against shorter opponents who need to stand to break guard.
