#TakedownTuesday • The versatility of #uchimata as a takedown is unparalled. Here I use it as a counter attack when an opponent has my back and tries to lift and mat return me. I like to reach back and grab the latissimus dorsi with my near arm and vine my leg onto the inside of my opponent’s to anchor me. I extend my far arm and leg away from them, to act as a counter weight thus making me feel much heavier. When he is forced to put me back down foot first, I utilize the given momentum to fuel my inner thigh throw attack.
