A lot of people ask me how they should roll with a child.
I simply let them flow and attack me when the attack is good and technical. Also, I always pay attention on my weight/pressure. Also, I do attack them when I see an opportunity to make sure they can react properly.
Novae trains @atosjiujitsuhq Kids Program since 2017. Today he’s 10 and also Pan Kids Champion. He loves training & competing.
Professor @nisarloynab (8-13 yo instructor) and I talk always about the program etc. We make sure everything is covered.
It’s very very important to make sure your child have fun while training but you must to balance it with discipline and responsibility.
Lots of people don’t understand it.
The coach, professor will always have an impact on the children’s life. Even if you spend only one hour a day or less with your students, you’re an example for them.
If your kids class is a mess (and you’re the coach) that’s completely your fault. As a coach you must to understand the kids mindset. They are always thirsty to interact and learn if you give them a chance.
If you don’t know jiu-Jitsu it will be hard for you to know how to do it. You must recognize the moves and reactions.
As a parent & professor, I know how great is to be able to train with your children or students, they will love it and they will never forget it!
