Absolutely, I did Krav Maga and trained with some pretty high-level people. Thank goodness I saw sense and have been doing BJJ for past 8 years. I think most low-level BJJ blue belts would fuck up Krav black belts.
Robert Marquardt says
Im a bjj black belt and i also used to teach krav. I agree 90% of what Joe said. The only thing id add is the way you use bjj in a fight would need to change. Add punching, kicking, slams, multiple attackers, weapons ect. and everything changes. I still believe bjj is top notch for preparing you to deal with these situations but you cant pull guard or front scoot into action like sport practitioners are doing nowadays. Use those concepts to take em down quickly, restrain them or hurt em and get away.

What he said!
Benjamin Hargrave says
Anyone who says this first statement is obviously a LYING MORON 😂. Krav Maga teaches you to play power rangers. BJJ teaches you how to control REAL violence. Anyone with half a brain will quickly discern this difference. There’s no use in saying words to someone like this who is obviously a brain dead liar. They need to try those silly power rangers moves out and see for themselves how rediculous they are.
Jeremy Miller says
The whole “in the streets “ bullshit is so ridiculous. You can’t train that regularly live or really at all so you can’t get better at it. Jiu jitsu skills you can train live everyday and they are very useful in self defense situations.
Robert Medley says
There’s so many different ways I can roll you into a ball.
Then use krav to kick you down a hill.
