In a perfect world with no time constraints I’d like to think I would practice learning movements on both sides equally. With only a finite amount of time for repetitions however, that is not always possible. How would you divide the reps between each side to get comfortable with the motor pattern? Learn one side first or both sides simultaneously? Would your answer be different for offensive techniques (takedowns, submissions) versus defensive (escapes, counters)?
