The S Mount is a VERY powerful position in BJJ – it puts a TON of pressure on your opponent and gives you unparalleled opportunities to attack with the armbar and other submissions. One way to get into the S Mount is to jump into it from side control when your opponent is keeping his arms tight. This is a movement of intermediate complexity but you can train it on your own using a heavy bag on the mat (shown in the first few seconds of this video).
