Humble comes from the Latin “Hummus” meaning, Earth, as in low to the Earth. The guy on the right was too humble. If he had postured and had some pride in his spine, he wouldn’t have gotten guillotined. That’s my overly pedantic take on it.

The handshake is what this video is referring to with the “humble” comment? One throw doesn’t end a match in Greco, so this video obviously starts mid-match. There’s probably more to the story for the guy to be trying to shake hands in the middle of the match. If anything the winner came off as condescending with that pat on the back.
