  9. As soon as he seen that fire arm he should have taken cover to obscure his draw and put shots on target. Most people when faced with this type of selfe defense situation make the mistake of not taking the threat seriously and end up paying the price for it. Hope everyone stays safe out there and CARRY on.

  20. The guard got one in the initial perp!! Tragic that the guard died. The second perp is a cold blooded murderer! I hope they got him. I think the guard wasn't paying attention to his surroundings thinking that there might be a second perp. The initial perp probably thought when he got shot, "FIBS, why did I do this?" "I'll never see my family again." "I'm going out, everything is getting fuzzy and cloudy!" "Damn, how stupid of me!" "And my ahole friend is still alive!" "What a wasted life!" "Adios!"

  22. @ 0:56 good for bouncer abled to shot the 1st perp clearly while falling back. To bad he backup towards the car gave him no chance. He was abled to fire shot one more time @ 0:58 to the driver but missed. He could gotten two perps on that fight. Bouncer fought good but It sucks he died. RIP. Lesson learn is when a perp comes back second time to take ASP conceal cover for a fight. Be safe all !

  24. Sorry to differ with you on this one John.This is not a need for "empty handed skills." The armed guard was under deadly attack and should have drawn and used his firearm as soon as he saw the other guy's gun. If that is not legal in mexico or you cosider the sight/flash of a firearm "drawing from the drop" then his other option was evade! Get out of there as soon as he saw the armed person coming for him. I am drawing and firing at the 1st sight that my life is in danger such as this, or I am running! I certainly am not standing there and relying on empty handed skills.

  30. Man, that was hard to watch. I can't help but wonder if the accomplice thought to himself "gee, maybe my buddy getting kicked out of a stupid bar wasn't worth all this". Do ya think?

  33. It's a shame only one guard was employed. He did an excellent job keeping the trash out; highly commendable for that and very sad he lost his life doing it. There were red flags for me. Maybe the guard recognized the guy from before. The car parked for quick getaway (and partway on a sidewalk?) was another. For me, these are signs of imminent danger; one's I'd have my gun out in the ready.

  38. It like you always say, a combatant reaching into a car is never a good thing. This guy was already hostile and likely inebriated . Those should have been a huge indicators for the guard to be on his toes and ready to draw or back into concealment. So unfortunate things have to go this way.

  39. You failed to note that the driver of the red car finished off his accomplice with at least 2 shots. He evacuated the victim rather than than his accomplice. There is obviously something more going on here.

  42. God bless you for promoting "spiritual fitness", John. This world would be a much better place if all of us practiced our spiritual fitness more. Keep up the good work, brother.

  43. People when you see someone walk up to you with a gun, someone you've had words with earlier, just end the threat. Don't talk, don't assume all with be OK…just shoot the guy. Retreating into that hallway would give the guard a perfect kill zone.

    Hind sight is 20/20 and that's why we train with intent and practice, practice, practice.
