This video is not meant to show you every technique to use against a wrestler. There are too many to count. I wanted to give you an idea of some things you could do. I use to suck at shooting in so instead I would counter wrestle. I was able to do this by doing wrestling classes.
I believe it is very important for every jiujitsu practitioner to take some wrestling classes. If you want to beat a wrestler you have to go train against wrestlers and learn their movements. I could show you a million techniques but it will not matter until you practice live wrestling over and over.
I will put some more videos of how to negate wrestlers up soon this is just the first of the series and the reversal that I started out with and had a lot of success with. Note on this technique “the switch” it’s okay to fall to your but you can still hit it from a seated position.
Once you get the switch down you will see it come into play a lot actually. Like I said it has been one of my favorites forever because my arms are so long it makes it easy to get the grip I need.
P.S. no liabilities
