Pulling a gun while a gun is pulled on you within 10 feet. Stupid. Plain and simple. Surprised the owner didn’t play the room temp challenge.
eliteone84 Outdoors says
I would have went to work when i pulled my pistol. I'm going home at the end of the day.
Luke Ubz says
I spend 25 mins/day on the heavy bag at home but thats about it. I think it was kinda risky pulling that gun at that moment. Especially since the owner was not ready to use it.
cellphone carcontent says
John what kind of empty handed skills do you have? Jui jitsu? Karate? Kickboxing? Judo? Just curious. That perp had alot of fight in him luckily he didint shoot the gun he stole from the clerk back at the clerk
Kevin Lara says
There's no poll
Operator 9013 says
Store owner is a complete idiot… buying a gun with no common sense I don’t think only flashing a gun is covered in firearms training 101
FordRacingFan93 says
sounds like the robber didn't want to kill him, otherwise he would have
Jason Woods says
I can definitely see the perp's lawyer try to use the Chewbacca defense
Chuck Chukwood says
That owner is one of the biggest dipshits I've ever seen
Riley Senn says
I took martial arts and boxing growing up plus I played hockey and tended to get myself into friendly rumbles around town so I’m not against using my hands but I don’t “train” in combat fighting anymore,I do exercise and keep myself healthy and in good shape but I guess I rely on my experience growing up to get my through any fight,I think I still got my oll 1-2 1-2 lol.
Johnathon Castro says
I am considered a lethal weapon myself. I carry a little card.
DaBrute says
I'm sorry but that store owner shouldn't have a gun
Ray Louis says
WOW!!! 1.THIS IS WHY YOU MUST CARRY YOUR FIREARM ON YOU , AND IF YOU HAV TO USE IT WAIT YOUR TURN , THEN GO FULL FORCE , CRATE DISTANCE AT THE DRAW !!!
NewfieMan709 says
I like these videos I live in Canada but it shows how quick things go bad and how most times you are on your own.
Patrick B says
This is a great lesson. Guns don't make you invincible. I unfortunately have worked with guys who are 10ft tall with their gun on them, or a shy little kid without one. It is sad what happened but these ego videos lately have really been teaching me to cool it. No argument is worth mine or someone else's life.
imlee888 says
Woah that’s me at 6:51
flodA reltiH says
Well that sucked
Ruen says
a damn shame this robber didn't get shot.
David Bell says
OK, so I'm one of those guys who depends on a gun and pepper spray. Is there empty handed skills training available for a 64 year old with back problems?
biscuitninja says
Practice, practice, practice….
I train in karate, knife fighting, fencing and escrima….
You need 10-15 ft for weapons use.
George Kuh says
The owner's fault it when the owner draw his weapon he should have shot hesitation could have got him killed
Jesse Roundtree says
The news story was wrong, he left his gun under the chips.
Dan McCoy says
The owner could have shot the robber right through the counter.
jackie T says
I have a question. What’s your advice for someone who is interested in forms of self defense but afraid of guns? I think about self defense and safety all the time, but truth to be told, I’m terrified of guns.
Every Good Thing says
As John always says "Never draw on a drawn gun"!
Budget Gun Cinema says
Today's video is brought to you by Bud Light. Enjoy an ice cold Bud Light today!
Lou Cummins says
Could have ended very badly. Was race an issue?
Fabian Taveras says
I love how everyone is criticizing the owner and rightfully so. But no one is talking about how the hell you could be involved in 18 robberies and STILL still be on the streets? WTF is wrong with California!?! Why is that state so pro criminal!?
John Quill Taylor says
At 6:07 (I kid you not) it actually appears that they pixilated his nuts!
